Jeremiah Dellow was born in 1805 at Barley, Hertfordshire, England, .1 He was christened on 17 February 1805 at Barley, Hertfordshire, England, ; There is some doubt about this entry. In the IGI Jeremiah is shown as being the son of Stephen & Mary (not Sarah) Dellow. I have not yet been able to check in the Parish Register for the period to see if this is an incorrect transcription.1 He was the son of Stephen Dellow and Sarah Hoy. Jeremiah Dellow married Rebecca Smith, daughter of James Smith and Grace Bright, on 18 July 1835 at Barley, Hertfordshire, England, .2
